When my AC went out, they showed up on a weekend after sunset. It was already late, but they didn't skip a beat. Their tech, Mark, was super professional and friendly. He swapped out a blown capacitor and got my AC humming again in no time.
I already knew my disconnect wasn't up to code, the power company told me the cable was worn down and could be dangerous if my dogs chewed on it. I originally called Icy Hot HVAC because my power bill had gotten way higher than normal, and I also saw they were running a tune-up special. Figured it was worth having someone take a look.
They showed up on time and were very professional. The technician explained everything clearly and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. During the tune-up, he found an issue that was causing my system to run inefficiently and got it fixed the same day.
Since then, my system has been running much better and I’ve already noticed my energy bill starting to come down. The house feels more comfortable too.

A visit typically includes the checks below. Cooling and heating visits differ.
Cooling visit (spring)
Check refrigerant pressures and temperature drop, inspect and clean the outdoor coil, test the capacitor, contactor and fan motor, check the condensate drain, check thermostat operation and electrical connections, and check the filter.
Heating visit (fall)
Inspect the heat exchanger and burners or heat strips, check ignition and safety controls, test the blower motor, check the flue and venting, check thermostat operation and electrical connections, and check the filter. Boilers and heat pumps get their own checks.
